Are you hyped for the next FIFA World Cup Game?!?! Give this easy recipe a try for your next hosted sports game event. I promise your guest will love the bacon, creamy texture and that jalapeño pop.

I picked up all of the ingredients at my local Walmart to make 40 jalapeño poppers (20 peppers, halved) for under $15, which can serve 8 guests. When you order these are your local restaurant chain you are looking to spend at least $8-$10 to serve two 😯

Make these delicious appetizers as your next party platter with less than a $20 budget. The best part, they’ll be gobbled down as soon as you set them down. Then, you’ll be soaking up the compliments on your hors d’oeuvres. Double or Triple the recipe below in order to serve at least 10 guests. The recommended ingredient servings below will make enough to serve at least 3-4 people, or two if you’re extra generous.

Jalapeño Popper Recipe – KETO / Low Carb

Ingredients

  • 16 oz package of Bacon
  • 8 oz package of Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 pound of jalapeño peppers

Prep Takes 5-10, Bakes in 25-30 min
serves 3-4

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat Oven to 400 degrees
  2. Slice the jalapeño peppers in halves, remove seeds and ribs
  3. Rinse thoroughly
  4. Use 1 tablespoon of cream cheese to fill each pepper
  5. Wrap the uncooked bacon around the cream cheese filled jalapeño
  6. Place jalapeños onto a baking sheet
  7. Cook for 25-30 mins
  8. Set for 3 mins to cool and Enjoy!

You’ll want to thoroughly wash the peppers once you remove the seeds and ribs. If you decide to keep the ribs inside, they’ll give your jalapeño appetizers a nice little spicy kick. I removed them to keep them mild.

Fill them with plain cream cheese, or you can get creative and add flavored option. I’ve seen a few options with chopped bacon instead of bacon wrapped. The best part about these fun party sides, you can adjust the ingredients for your personal preference.

After you wrap the bacon, you want to place them into the preheated 400 degree oven for 25-35 mins. You can leave them in a bit longer if you want an extra crispy bacon layer. I love that these have just enough crisp, not too crunchy.

This is my new favorite go-to appetizer when we are expecting family and friends. I absolutely love the flavor and bacon wrapped peppers. 🤤 A few main entrees that can be paired nicely with the jalapeno poppers are beef sliders, chicken, turkey wraps, and steak kabobs.
