One of my favorite quick and easy breakfast meals is, hands down: Chia and Protein Oatmeal. It’s the absolute easiest breakfast you can make! Plus, it will cost less than $1.46 per day to enjoy a healthy guilt free breakfast. By the way, you can make this 100% as a vegan recipe too!
I’m a little coo-coo 🙋♂️when it comes to waking up in the morning, you’ll find me hitting my snooze alarm at 5:30am and ready to fully wake up within a few minutes. My breakfast routine is extremely simple since I get the boys ready for school and rush myself out to work. That’s when Coffee and Oatmeal come to the rescue!
Here’s what I use to create an easy breakfast under 3 minutes. No joke! 3 minutes + a microwave are my best friends. 😂
You will need:
– a Large cup
– 1/2 a cup of Almond Milk
-1 individual packet of Oatmeal (quaker brand is my favorite!)
-1 teaspoon of Chia Seeds
– 1 tablespoon (or a pinch) of Protein Granola
– 1 medium banana sliced
– 1 tablespoon of flax seed (I’ll add this every other day)
Pour your Almond Milk and Oatmeal packet into your cup (optional: add flax seed), stir/mix them together, and microwave for 1-2 minutes. Take it out and sprinkle your toppings: chia seeds, protein, sliced bananas.
