If there’s one place that I’ll always take my boys, every spring/summer vacation, it would be Sea World San Diego. I love that they have so many educational shows and interactions. You can experience the entire oceanarium with many marine mammals. Here’s what we love about Sea World San Diego and the new Sesame Street Party Parade..
This is a sponsored post brought to you by Sea World. The opinions are completely my own based on my personal experience.
As soon as you enter the animal theme park, you can catch their sign with the Sesame Street Party Parade. They have free maps of the Sea World theme park layout that highlight the parade route. Make sure to get there a bit earlier to get a great seat. The parade is every Saturday and Sunday at 4:30pm between May 5, 2018 – September 2, 2018. You’ll want to take your camera or phone out and snap some adorable photos of your favorite Sesame Street characters!
You can upgrade your visit to Sea World Parks with the following Parade and Dinner packages:
Sesame Street Party Parade Reserved Seating – a reserved seating with cushion seats and carpeted children’s viewing area.
Sesame Street Party Parade VIP – the same as the reserved seating with children’s carpeted viewing, PLUS a light-up necklace, and coupon for 10% off a single purchase at the Sesame souvenir store Splish Splash.
Dinner with Elmo and Friends – This was a huge for Zachary, our toddler was loving the Elmo and Friends character interaction during dinner. The buffet was so tasty, they had a salad bar, pasta, fajitas, sides and dessert. My boys were so happy to snap photos with all of our favorite Sesame Street friends.
Sonny, my 6 year old loved all of the cool photo opportunities throughout the theme park. It was so much fun to see how each of my boys enjoyed the theme park with their own special excitement throughout the day. We enjoyed all of the character interactions and the food was delicious. Be sure to watch all of the shows and go on the new Electric Eel Roller Coaster at Sea World! It’s the fastest and tallest roller coaster in San Diego. Tip: Watch the shows, enjoy the interactions, ride the roller coaster all before your dinner with Elmo and friends. The dinner is usually held an hour or two before the park closes.
We packed extra clothing and towels in case the boys wanted to enjoy the aquatic playground. Sea World has many animal experiences where you can gentle touch the sea mammals. There are plenty of wash stations to soap up and rinse off after these fun experiences. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and share some interesting facts about the ocean animals.
Our overall experience was amazing! This time we didn’t sit in the designated soak zone, it was a fresh day and I didn’t pack clothes for myself. However, you can purchase large ponchos to get the full experience just before the Dolphin and Orca shows. JUST in case you prefer to sit in that fun soak zone designated area.
A huge shoutout to Sea World San Diego for hosting us and to The Moms Network! Our family had a blast and we couldn’t be happier to have had such a great start to our summer vacation trips! We’d like to share the love with you all, and give one of our followers a chance to experience the Sea World San Diego park (4 general admission tickets).
